Builders have the most watchable footage of any trade and the least time to edit it. This category gives a contractor the pieces that turn site phone clips into posts: a build-progress tracker, a weekly site update, a before-and-after slider, a time-lapse date stamp, a blueprint reveal, a roof-on milestone, an equipment spotlight, a materials receipt and a handover-day card. Safety and recruitment are covered too, with a PPE checklist, a caution-tape hook and a “now hiring trades” post.

The designs use the visual language of the site: stencil type, hazard stripes, plan grids and date stamps, so they look like they belong on a builder’s page rather than a marketing agency’s. Drop in the day’s clips, type the week number and the stage, and export at 1080p. Most are 9:16 for Reels and TikTok, where construction content performs well, with square versions for Facebook, which is still where many local clients look for a builder.

## Tips

- **Post the same angle every week** — For the progress series, film from the same spot each time and use the weekly-update template with the week number. The repetition is the content.
- **Stamp every clip with a date** — The time-lapse stamp template overlays a date and stage name. Clients and future customers trust footage that says when it was taken.
- **Make the safety post before the hiring post** — A PPE checklist or site-stats card shows the kind of site you run. Post it, then the “now hiring trades” card; applicants look at the page before they apply.

## FAQ

**Are the construction templates free?**

Yes. Edit any of them with a free account and export in 1080p with a small watermark; paid plans remove it.

**Can I use phone footage from site?**

Yes. Import MP4 or MOV clips straight from your phone, trim them on the timeline and place them under the template’s text and stamps.

**Can I show before and after?**

Yes. The before/after site template has two frames; drop a photo or clip into each and the design handles the reveal.
