German designs for local businesses, schools, clubs, holidays and very German jokes, with nothing translated from English.

- Page: https://cutluma.com/templates/category/german
- 156 templates; each opens in the editor with a free account and exports as MP4.

Much of the design language is home-grown: Swiss-grid posters, Bauhaus circles and triangles, a station departure board, squared school paper and a cross-stitched kitchen motto. The copy respects German conventions that a translated template usually misses, such as calendar weeks (KW 42), the m/w/d note in a job ad, the advertising label on a creator’s product clip and a ready-made Impressum card. Regional differences get their own designs, with Moin, Servus and Grüezi on one board and a poll on what a bread roll is called where you live; a 48-hour Vienna guide covers the neighbours. Most templates are 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, with 1:1 and 4:5 posts and 16:9 pieces such as the league table, the hut-to-hut hike profile and the documentary title card. The editor’s interface is available in German.

## Tips

- **Decide on du or Sie first** — Most samples say du, as German social posts usually do. A medical practice or an estate agent may prefer Sie; change it everywhere, including the call to action.
- **Keep long compounds in one piece** — Words such as Frühjahrs-Radcheck or Hausmeisterservice are part of the charm. Reduce the font size a step or hyphenate at a natural joint instead of letting a compound break mid-word.
- **Enter your own legal details** — The Impressum card and the advertising label exist because German creators are expected to show them. Replace the sample name and address with yours and leave the label where viewers can see it.

## FAQ

**Gibt es kostenlose Videovorlagen auf Deutsch?**

Ja.

**Do umlauts and ß work in every design?**

Yes. The sample copy is full of ä, ö, ü and ß, from Grüße aus dem Allgäu to Stoßlüften, so the fonts in use carry them. Type them directly.

**Is there a German version of the editor?**

Yes. German is one of the interface languages, so the tools around the template read in German as well.

**Are Austria and Switzerland covered?**

Partly. The greeting board includes Servus and Grüezi and there is a 48-hour Vienna city guide; most other designs are written for Germany, and all wording can be changed.

**Can I get German AI captions?**

Yes, with a paid plan. AI captions transcribe German and you can then split, correct or restyle the lines.
