# Colour grade video online, with LUTs and scopes

> A real grade, not a filter slider: lift, gamma and gain wheels, curves, one-colour corrections and your own LUTs, with scopes that show exactly what you are doing.

Grade video in your browser: camera log to normal video, colour wheels, curves, .cube LUTs, film looks, grain and vignette, with waveform, parade and vectorscope. Free.

## How it works

1. **Add your clip** — Drop a video on the timeline and select it. Shot in S-Log3, V-Log, Canon Log 3, LogC3 or D-Log? Choose it and the picture is brought to normal video first.
2. **Balance, then shape** — Auto colour sets white balance and levels as a first pass. Then use the wheels, curves and a colour range to change only the sky or only skin.
3. **Add a look and finish** — Pick a film look or import a .cube LUT, set its strength, add grain, halation and a vignette. Copy the grade to other clips or match them to a reference shot.

## Why CutLuma for this

- **Scopes that tell the truth** — Luma waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope with the skin-tone line and histogram, so you grade by measurement and not by a bright laptop screen.
- **The same in the export** — The grade runs on your graphics card in one pass, and the exported file gets exactly the frame you saw in the preview.
- **Your LUTs** — Import 1D and 3D .cube files and apply them with a strength slider on top of your own grade.

## FAQ

**Is it free?**

Yes. Colour grading, scopes, looks and LUT import are free on every plan.

**Does it work with 10-bit log footage?**

Log footage is converted and graded, but the browser hands over 8-bit frames, so a very hard stretch can band. Light dithering and grain help.

**Can I match two shots?**

Yes. Shot match moves a clip’s levels and colour balance onto a reference clip; adjust from there.

**Which browsers?**

Chrome, Edge and other browsers with WebGL2. Without it the grade is skipped and the panel says so.
