The Friday-morning bakery order seen from above, in Levantine dialect: a kraft box fills with twelve manakish type by type (five zaatar, three cheese, two meat, one half-and-half, one extra “for the road”) while the family’s order is tallied beside it, then the twelfth disappears, a red stamp says it was eaten on the way and the footer counts 12 out of the oven, 11 home. Change the types, the counts and who each is for.
