CutLuma vs Airtime

Airtime bundles four apps — Camera, Recorder, Creator and Stacks — for one subscription. CutLuma covers the recording side (you with your slides, camera looks, screen recording) and then keeps going: a multi-track editor, AI captions, a transcript editor, 660+ templates and export in 4K.

Overview

CutLuma and Airtime in two paragraphs

Airtime's Creator is the presenter-with-slides recorder, its Camera is a virtual webcam with "looks" for Zoom, Teams and Meet, and its Recorder is a quick web screen recorder. Editing is deliberately light: trim, rearrange sections, add overlays.

CutLuma's Present tool does the same job as Creator — import a PDF deck, pick one of five layouts, record chapter by chapter — and the Camera looks (lighting, background blur, frames, name tag, away screen) apply to any recording. The difference is what happens afterwards: every slide change and chapter is an editable clip on a real timeline, with captions, text effects, transitions, music, templates and a 4K export.
