LinkedIn video editor, right in your browser
Make a short, captioned video for your LinkedIn feed — a talking-head tip, a product demo or a screen walkthrough — framed to fill the screen and uploaded as a native video.
Made for LinkedIn
Video on LinkedIn plays in the feed when you upload the file itself. If you post a link instead — including a CutLuma share link — LinkedIn shows a preview card that opens another page rather than playing where people are scrolling. So export an MP4 here and attach it to your post as a video.
The feed starts videos without sound, so captions do much of the work: put your main point on screen in the first seconds and caption every line. Square (1:1) and portrait (4:5) video take up more of a phone screen than landscape, and you can switch between them in one click.
For updates that should loop silently, like a quick product walkthrough, you can also export an animated GIF. GIFs play on their own, on a loop and without sound, so keep them short and light. Many sites cap GIF uploads at 5–15 MB, and the export screen estimates the file size before you start.
Three steps, a few minutes
Record or drop in your video
A talking-head clip, a screen walkthrough with your camera bubble, or footage you already have.
Frame it for the feed
Switch to 4:5 or 1:1, then add captions, your logo and a clear opening line.
Upload the MP4 to LinkedIn
Export, then add it to a post as a video so it plays right in the feed.

4:5 and square presets
Fill more of the mobile feed than landscape, and drag to keep your face or your screen in frame.
Screen demos with your face
The studio recorder captures your screen, camera bubble and voice, then zooms in on clicks and cuts the pauses.
Your brand on every post
Save your logo, colours and font in the brand kit and apply them to all text in one click.
Looping GIF export
Turn a short clip into an animated GIF that plays silently on a loop.
Clear audio from a laptop mic
Enhance voice cuts rumble and evens out levels; noise reduction quiets hum and hiss between words.
Tools that help
Questions? Answers.
What is the best video size for LinkedIn?
Square 1:1 (1080 × 1080) or portrait 4:5 (1080 × 1350) fills more of the feed on phones. Landscape 16:9 works too, especially for longer talks and demos.
Why doesn’t my video link play in the LinkedIn feed?
LinkedIn shows most links as a preview card that opens another page. To have a video play in the feed, upload the MP4 file itself when you create the post.
Can I add captions?
Yes. AI captions are part of the paid plans, and you can always type your own captions as text clips for free.
Is it free?
The editor is free, with 720p exports and a small watermark. Paid plans remove the watermark, export in higher resolution and include AI captions.
