Foster goodbye letter

Foster goodbye letter video template

A foster carer’s goodbye letter on cream stationery: “Dear forever family,” in flowing script, a taped first-day polaroid, how he arrived and how he leaves, three things the adopters should know, a signature and a wine-red “gone home” seal. Drop the photo and rewrite the letter for each foster.

GONE HOME
A NOTE FROM HIS FOSTER HOME
Dear forever family,
day 1 · 480 g
He arrived at 480 grams and furious. He leaves at 2.1 kilos, still furious, but now he purrs about it.
THREE THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
1. He sleeps on your neck. Let him.
2. The hoover is his sworn enemy.
3. He answers to “sir”. Only “sir”.
He was never ours to keep. He was ours to get ready.
with all our love,
Nadia & the foster crew
